Würzburg wine treasures
Würzburger Weinschätze offers you the ultimate wine tasting experience and a journey through the rich history and culture of Würzburg's winemaking tradition.
Under expert guidance, you will explore three historic wineries and learn more about the history of Franconian wine, the different grape varieties and the unique soils that make these wines so special. On a guided tour through a model vineyard, you can experience the complete cycle of the vines from pruning to harvest. The highlight of the tour, however, is undoubtedly the wine tasting. At each of the three wineries you will be treated to two specially selected wine tastings (0.1 l each), accompanied by delicious local delicacies from a Würzburg bakery. The knowledgeable guides will help you learn about and appreciate the subtleties of each wine, including its aroma, body and finish. This tour is not only perfect for wine lovers, but also for those who want to learn more about the cultural heritage of the Würzburg wine region.
